HR Coordinator Job Description:

WC Smith has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resource (HR) Coordinator. A successful HR Coordinator will be highly-motivated and proactive, and responsible for providing support across human resources and benefits, and in-house payroll. This position will be based in our corporate office located in the growing Navy Yard.

HR Coordinator Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of two years of HR experience
  • Excellent data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRMS platforms
  • Experience producing results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting a non-exempt population
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and DC labor and employment law
  • Proactive and results-oriented with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Commitment to excellence and high level of integrity; ability to exercise strict confidentiality and sound judgment
  • Strong client-service focus and ability to build and manage relationships across different levels and functions
