Job Overview
You are on your way to joining the team that is at the center of customer order delivery. In this part-time role, you will coordinate delivery routes between Amazon drivers, third-party companies, and Amazon warehouses. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make history and become a member of a team whose purpose is to solve complex challenges and create unprecedented customer experiences while working in a climate-controlled office setting. We’re looking for creative leaders with a passion for innovation, knack for problem solving, and dedication to creating world-class customer experiences. Start as soon as seven days. Shifts may require working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities

Some of your duties may include:

• Coordinate support between drivers, Amazon warehouses, and third-party locations like grocery stores and restaurants
• Interpret information from different sources and use good judgement to make sure deliveries are on time
• Communicate with delivery partners ensuring on-time delivery
• Solve for planned and unplanned events (traffic, weather, sporting & community events) that affect delivery routes
• Identify issues and raise to management
• Complete reports using standard tools/process
• Use a computer, Microsoft Office, and Amazon software
• Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or evenings
• All work is executed on a computer through Amazon proprietary software and Microsoft Office
• Communicate via phone/chat/email with various Amazon stakeholders to answer real time questions to remove barriers

Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.

• Strong computer skills, including multitasking, browser use, and good chat/IM etiquette
• Strong writing skills
• Experience communicating professionally with diverse audiences
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must be flexible to work weekends and/or evenings
• Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all safety guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills using a transportation management system as well as Microsoft Office products
• Good teamwork mentality: able to build trustworthy and supportive working relationships
• Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
• Five years of experience in customer support and/or distribution operations
• Experience in transportation/dispatch industry is a plus
• Strong computer skills using a transportation management system as well as Microsoft Office products
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
